United Way of Southwestern Indiana: 24th Annual Day of Caring

United Way of Southwestern Indiana will conduct the 24th Annual Day of Caring on Friday, September 8, 2017. The day will start off with a breakfast at the Old National Events Plaza. Breakfast begins at 7 a.m., followed by a brief presentation at 7:30 a.m. After the presentation, volunteers will go out into the community and spend the day helping 60 local nonprofit agencies complete much needed projects, which include landscaping, painting, helping the elderly, reading to preschool students, carpentry work, and much more. The Day of Caring breakfast also serves as the kick-off for the 2017 United Way Campaign, which runs through December 8.
