United Way 2-1-1  connects individuals in need of social services with the appropriate service providers in the Southwestern Indiana community.  2-1-1 makes it possible for people in need to navigate the complex and ever-changing maze of human services. 2-1-1 helps track trends and gaps in social services within the community and is vital in disaster relief and connecting individuals to social service agencies.

The United Way of Southwestern Indiana 2-1-1 serves Crawford, Dubois, Gibson, Knox, Perry, Pike, Posey, Spencer, Vanderburgh, and Warrick Counties. 2-1-1 resource specialists are available 24 hours a day to confidentially help people in need of a wide variety of services, which include but not limited to:

  • Housing
  • Shelter
  • Food
  • Legal Aid
  • Clothing
  • Education
  • Counseling
  • Utility Assistance
  • Health Care and many more services

2-1-1 is also available for text messaging.  Text your zip code to 898211 to have basic information about community resources sent directly to your cell phone. Text 2-1-1 is available daily from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday.
