Volunteer Opportunities

There are many ways to get involved with United Way of Southwestern Indiana. Our volunteers are the heartbeat of our programs and help us reach those in need in our community. When you raise your hand as a United Way volunteer, we connect you with the nonprofit who needs your help.

"Day of Caring x 2 in 2022"

A 100th anniversary calls for twice the fun!

Since Day of Caring was postponed last fall due to COVID, we’re doubling-down on the celebration. Join us for, not one (but two!), Days of Caring this year.
Mark your calendars for:

Spring Day of Caring

We’re thrilled to welcome Sean Georges, author and co-founder of On Mission Leadership, as our keynote speaker for our Spring Day of Caring. Sean brings a servant leader’s heart into all that he does and inspires others to do the same. Mix his inspirational message with the fun, energetic style of emcee, Dan Katz, and we’ve got a dynamic duo to send you off to create good in the world!
You won’t want to miss it!
