There are many ways to get involved with United Way of Southwestern Indiana. Our volunteers are the heartbeat of our programs and help us reach those in need in our community. When you raise your hand as a United Way volunteer, we connect you with the nonprofit who needs your help.
Due to the rapid spread of the delta variant, United Way has made the difficult decision to postpone Day of Caring until later in Fall. Sponsors, participating nonprofits, and volunteers have received notifications. When it is safe to do so, we will reschedule the day’s activities and hope you will join us!

Impact Panel volunteers ensure that United Way invests donations from the annual campaign into community partner programs that align with our high-priority outcomes for upward mobility. As an Impact Panel volunteer, you’ll receive training, visit assigned agencies, and make investment recommendations based on available funds.
