A United Way workplace campaign is an engaging, time-tested way for everyone in your organization to rally in support of our community. Both easy and effective, workplace giving is a significant element of our campaign and shows employees their workplace actively supports our community’s most critical issues. Employee campaigns are a great opportunity to engage employees, build a spirit of teamwork, and increase morale all while making an impact on the community.
Employees are given an opportunity to support United Way by donating through convenient payroll deduction or a direct gift. Whether you’re a small business, major corporation, or even a nonprofit, you can join the many local businesses and organizations that run workplace campaigns each year.
UNITE WITH US! Unity will build a better community. Unity begins with YOU.
Although there are signs of recovery in our community, many households are battling a hidden issue: although they’re working, they can’t make ends meet. This often forces tough choices – do they pay rent or refill medicine? Keep the lights on or put food in the fridge? United Way is shifting its focus to one goal: empowering individuals and families with resources to improve their economic situation. In other words, to become upwardly mobile.
United Way has developed new Pathways to Potential that are shown to improve the upward mobility of individuals and communities. These new Pathways include:
Unite with us to build a community that offers opportunities for everyone to thrive, not just survive. Your gift to United Way is pooled with others to make a significant investment into problem-solving initiatives, creating more impact than single donations to one organization. Unity will build a better community… and unity begins with YOU.
